| Special Program for 2008-2009 I.E. Roadrunner Season |
Attention Future Finishers of the City of Los Angeles Marathon,
We are proud to offer a special 5 week training program especially for beginners, to better prepare for the upcoming training season. Beginning Saturday June 28 through July 26, join the Inland Empire Roadrunners, the Official Training Program of the City of Los Angeles Marathon, as we get an early start in preparing for the big event on March 1st, 2009. If you have always wanted to run or walk in the City of Los Angeles Marathon, there is no better time than now. Take the first step and we will gladly help you with the rest.
This special 5 week program is free with sign up for our regular 28 week program set to begin August 9, 2008.
Training will take place each Saturday beginning June 28th at 7:00 a.m. at Pacers Running Co. Specialty Running Store in Chino. Pacers Running Company Specialty Running Store is located at 17388 Roswell Ave. Suite 128 in Chino Ca. 91710.

The momentum is beginning to build for the 2008-2009 I.E. and OC Roadrunner programs. Many great paceleaders will be returning to help guide the new group toward their marathon dreams. Phil, Leo, Jose, Cynthia, Tawny, Catherine, Jackie, Rick, Vicky, Marisol are a few who will be leading the way, in addition to some new faces who have offered to help in making the upcoming season better than ever. We also have a beautiful New Course for the 2008-2009 I.E. Roadrunner Program. We will now be utilizing Grand Ave. to take us more quickly into some of the most scenic parts of Chino Hills. We will be passing through the new Shoppes at Chino Hills which drops us right into English Road where you will enjoy 4 miles of peaceful country road and park running. In addition, Danny Varela, a leading expert in Soft Tissue Injury, and staff will be coming on board to provide expert advice, clinics, and treatment for our club. Treatment will be offered at a substantially discounted rate for Pacers/ Roadrunners members. Danny is one of the best and has worked with Olympic Champions including Maurice Greene, Mike Powell and more.
